Joseph A. Algana

Joseph Alagna’s career in the securities industry spans more than 30 years. Joe is the founding member of Joseph Gunnar & Co. (est. in 1997) and currently serves as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and is a founding member of the Buttonwood family of venture capital funds and currently serves as their Co-Manager. From 1990-1997, Joe was Executive-Vice President and National Sales Manager for a nationally recognized broker-dealer, where he was instrumental in developing a 20-person, one office firm into a business with more than 250 financial consultants with eight offices in five states. Joe attended the University of Miami and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from C.W. Post College.
